Synchronizing Jira dependency links
Any Jira dependency can be synchronized and there are five slots available i.e. you can visualize up to five types of links.
The soft links will be visible only in Gantt and the new Board module.
It is also possible disable the synchoronization of the dependency links, in which case, adding a link will not create one in Jira.
The default link configuration
The app creates custom links which are most suitable for working with the Gantt tasks:
Gantt: End to End Link | has to be finished together with → | has to be finished together with |
---|---|---|
Gantt: End to Start Link | has to be done before → | has to be done after |
Gantt: Start to End Link | earliest end isstartof → | start isearliestend of |
Gantt: Start to Start Link | has to be started together with → | has to be started together with |
There are two auto task modes in Gantt which work best with the default custom links added by the app. If you decide to change the default links, switch to the manual task mode to avoid unintended rescheduling of the tasks.
