Configuring the risk matrix

risk matrix is a matrix that is used during risk assessment to define the level of risk by considering the category of probability or likelihood against the category of consequence severity.

You can change the axis description as well as the synchronized Jira fields.

By default, two "Select list (single choice)" custom fields are created during the app installation:

Custom fieldSelect options

Risk consequence

  • Trival
  • Low
  • Medium
  • High
  • Severe

Risk probability

  • Almost none
  • Low
  • Medium
  • High
  • Very high

In order to use the matrix i.e. show Jira issues on the matrix you need to add both fields to your Jira issue screens and select one of the options.
